Das Roskilde Festival gehört zu Recht mit über 75.000 Fans zum größten Rock-Festival Nordeuropas. Seit dem Jahre 1972 verkörpert das Non-Profit Festival eine wohltätigen Rolle, in dem es alle Einnhamen an den Foreningen Roskildefonden spendet, welches humanitäre, kulturelle und andere gemeinnützige Organisationen unterstützt. Das Roskilde Festival bietet eine große Bandbreite an Musik Genres wie Rock, Elektro, Jazz oder Hip-Hop.
