Folgende Bands waren bei der vorerst letzten Ausgabe des Area4 dabei: A Wilhelm Scream, Agnostic Front, Baroness, Beatsteaks, Darkest Hour, Dispatch, Donots, Every Time I Die, Good Riddance, Graveyard, Heaven Shall Burn, Kettcar, Kilians, Kverlertak, Kylesa, LetLive, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, Montreal, Nations Afire, Neaera, Norma Jean, O’Brother, Polar Bear Club, Pulled Apart By Horses, Radio Havanna, Saves the Day, Sick Of It All, Slime, Social Distortion, Sondaschule, Sportfreunde Stiller, The Flatliners, The Gaslight Anthem, The Subways, The Wombats, Timid Tiger, Touché Amoré, We Are The Ocean. Hoffen wir, dass es bald wieder eine Neuauflage des Festivals geben wird!
Infos zum Area4 2012
Das Area4 Festival ist für alle Indie- und Alternative-Rockfans ein wichtiger Termin im Jahr. Seit 2006 rocken auf dem Flugplatz Borkenberge ca. 15.000 Besucher zu namhaften Bands wie System of a Down, Motörhead oder Nine Inch Nails. 2012 spielten u.a. Beatsteaks, Social Distortion, Donots oder die Sportfreunde Stiller. 2012 fand das Festival soweit das letzte mal statt.
