Das Area4 Festival ist ein Muss für alle Indie- und Alternative-Rockfans. Seit 2006 rocken auf dem Flugplatz Borkenberge ca. 15.000 Besucher zu namhaften Bands wie System of a Down, Motörhead oder Nine Inch Nails. 2010 spielten u.a. Placebo, Blink 182, Billy Talent oder Queens Of The Stone Age.
